Messages to the Church

Listed below are messages of a prophetic nature that I believe YHWH* has given me for certain congregations within the Church, the body of Jesus Christ, for the United States and others. Like the messages to the seven churches in Rev. 2:1-3:22, these contain lessons for others. Messages for specific congregations were delivered to people with authority in that congregation. Although I received many of the messages and delivered them many years ago, I believe that I have received instruction to publish these messages for the benefit of Jesus' body, which I began doing in 2008. I firmly believe that prophetic words and prophecies must be tested. So I present them with the request and admonition that you seek the Holy Spirit to discern whether and to what extent YHWH may be saying something to you and the congregation with whom you fellowship.

First Message to Church of the Redeemer

A message delivered to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Houston, Texas late in 1983 in which YHWH rejects its excessive organizing, instructs it on authority and making decisions, and calls it to trust in him. [14.Jul.1983]

Second Message to Church of the Redeemer

A message delivered to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Houston, Texas June 12, 1984, in which YHWH admonishes the congregation for certain behaviors, speaks about its leadership, and calls it to return. [12.Jun.1984]

First Message to St. John the Divine

A message delivered to St. John the Divine in Houston, Texas in 1992 shortly after receiving it. Reminding the organization that his people are enough building for him, YHWH rejects a construction program costing several million dollars. [3.Mar.1992]

Second Message to St. John the Divine

A message delivered to St. John the Divine in Houston, Texas in 2005. It records thoughts received during meditation on a dream about the church. In the message, YHWH rejects an expensive building program and emphasizes the importance of equipping the saints to do the work he calls his people to do. [18.Nov.2004]

Death of the Great Church

A message to the congregation of a great church dying from a wasting disease. YHWH calls his people to return to him. [21.Feb.2006]

Warning for the United States

A message for people of the United States. YHWH reminds the people of his bounty and warns of his displeasure. [3.Mar.2008]

Warning to a Great Nation

A warning to a great nation about being destroyed from within by its corruption and degradation. [10.Oct.2009]

Carnal Indulgence Danger

A warning about the danger of carnal indulgence. [22.Jan.2010]

*YHWH or YHVH is the English representation of the four Hebrew letters that spell the name of the God of the Bible, the one true, living God worshipped by Jews and Christians. YHWH was the name by which he identified himself to Moses in Ex. 3:14. According to references that I've read, the exact pronunciation of YHWH's name was lost in antiquity, but the generally accepted pronounciation in common English is "Yah-weh" or "Yah-way". Some translations of the Bible, such as the KJV and NASB, substitute "the LORD" for his name, following a practice begun before Jesus' birth.

YHWH revealed himself in various ways to the children of Israel in the Hebrew Bible, which Christians call the Old Testament. He also revealed himself in and through his son Jesus Christ and acts, among other ways, in and through Christians by the Holy Spirit. Because the word "God" is being used today to designate all kinds of human inventions, although accepted for centuries in English as a name for YHWH, I prefer to use the name that YHWH chose for himself rather than "God" or "the LORD" as I did in early versions of my writings.
